Safeguarding
Our school is committed to safeguarding children and promoting children’s welfare and expects all staff, governors, volunteers and visitors to share this commitment and maintain a vigilant and safe environment. Everyone has a responsibility to act without delay to protect children by reporting anything that might suggest a child is being abused or neglected. We would expect you to also report to the headteacher or Designated Safeguarding Lead any behaviours of any adults working in the school that may concern you.

Operation Encompass
Operation Encompass is a Merseyside Police and Education early intervention safeguarding partnership which supports children and young people exposed to domestic abuse.
Operation Encompass is the reporting to schools before the start of the next school day when a child or young person has been involved in or exposed to a domestic incident. The information is given in strict confidence to a school’s Key Adult to enable support to be given dependent on the needs and wishes of the child. Princes Primary School’s Key Adult is Ellie Jones.
Operation Encompass is a valuable initiative that enables us to continue to support and help our children and families within our school community when they need it the most. Click the link below for more information.
